What We PracticeFormal Friday 552a

We strive to be polite to all and in all situations.

To be respectful of others regardless of their rank or station.

We strive through study and practice to master Kata and Kumite.

When we train, we concentrate to make the Waza (techniques) faster, stronger, and more
correct without becoming emotional.

We strive to maintain concentration and to reach new understanding and ability.

Karateka must not become arrogant.  We must keep a beginner’s fresh spirit forever.

Karate is a way to discipline both the mind and body, and to build our character to become a complete person.

The way of Karate is Budo (Martial Art).  It is a road map for a life well lived.
